We’ve got the window of opportunity and all means to kick polio out of Pakistan. Let’s seize the moment and turn the dream into reality

Although I have done a Masters in Economics, I did not choose a career in the banking or financial sector. But being a polio survivor myself, I understand what sort of challenges a person will have to face while living with permanent disability and I can be a better advocate for polio eradication

I like spending time in our wheat and vegetable farms. Since I find less time for this, I usually help in the harvest season. I love travelling and whenever there is an opportunity I would hang out with my friend to see the northern regions, which is my favourite destination.

The government or the people on their own cannot make the dream of a polio-free Pakistan come true. All have to work as a team against this common enemy of our children.

Let us all have our share in the fulfilment of this national and religious duty. Let us take action today so that tomorrow we don’t have to regret it and fail our generations.
